Discover the breathtaking beauty of Elafonisi Beach located on the southwestern corner of Crete. With its beautiful turquoise waters and white and pink sand, Elafonisi is believed to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world often referred to as Cretan Caribbean and included in Natura 2000. Sea turtles and other wild animals and endemic plants found shelter in this remote paradise. Not only the scenery at Elafonisi is truly breathtaking, but also the island's history dates back to ancient times. The Ancient Greeks built a temple devoted to Mousagetis Apollo, and later it was occupied by pirates. Legends say that there are many hidden treasures still waiting to be discovered.
You will have 4 hours to explore the lagoon. At the beginning of the lagoon, you will find an organized beach with umbrellas, showers and snack bars. But if you walk to the other side, you will escape the crowds and discover a beautiful beach with small bays, pinkish sand and views of the Libyan Sea.
Later as we will be returning, you will have a chance to try Cretan cuisine in the traditional village that will be on our way. And you will return to your hotels with the most beautiful memories and impressions that you will never forget.
Lunch is not included in the price of the tour.
Comfortable shoes will be advantage if you want to have a walk.
